Jon Danckwerth is the Technology and Operations Advisor of Deuterium energetics. Jon has a BS from the Illinois Institute of Technology, in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, with a minor in Naval Science. He started out his career as owner and operator of a privately held security firm with over 180 employees that serviced Federal, State and Private businesses but soon went on to continue his career as an engineering officer in the US Navy on two different aircraft carriers. After fulfilling his obligations to the Navy, Jon went on to become a materials and process engineer at Space Systems/Loral where he worked to design and manufacture everything from Solar Arrays to Propulsion systems for high power geosynchronous satellites. After taking a couple years to build military aircraft as a technical program manager with L3 and Northrup Grumman, he continued his career at SSL as a program manager for several $300+ million-dollar satellites. Jon then left the Aerospace world behind to join Apple where he was the New Product Introduction Program Manager for iPad and Apple Watch. Carbon was the next stop on his career path when he decided to start working in the exciting world of Silicon Valley startups. At Carbon, he aided in the production and release of their first 3D printer and post processing system and later went on to manage the technical and operational launch of the first consumer 3D printed shoes for Adidas in a first of its kind 3D printing factory for consumer goods. Now that Jon had experienced the excitement of the startup world, he continued down that path building electric aircraft at Joby Aviation and cutting-edge speakers as VP of Manufacturing and Operations at SYNG in Venice Beach, Ca. When COVID changed the world, Jon started his own consulting company, SkyrrTech, to help companies implement new technologies and manufacturing techniques to improve production, better utilize new technology and stabilize their manufacturing. He is a business plan architect and leader and has brought together multiple developers and manufacturers with expertise in injection molding, 3D printing, automated manufacturing, environmental packaging solutions, logistics, and more, to produce and bring to market cutting-edge technologies. Jon has successfully aided multiple start-ups, setting up manufacturing systems and aiding in fundraising, enabling them to launch products ranging from the most sought-after consumer goods to cutting edge industrial manufacturing systems.
